Meeting with Kun-Liang
My proposal for the blog,
1, It has 2 main parts, Jounral club and selected papers. The JC will include abstracts of 2 selected papers and my brief comments on significance and questions. Selected papers will include a list of ones for general stem cell biologists.
2, It was planned to invite the author of paper in JC to input on my comments. The author may have an account in this blog, that gives the right to post original article/message on this blog. S/he may choose not to respond at all.
3, It was also planned to invite external reviewer/contributor. They may input interesting paper/abstracts, and their comments.
Need to addess the following questions,
1, Does it need external reviewer/contributors?
2, Is it appropriate to invite the author?

It was a construtive talk. Thanks to Kun-Liang, I decided to invite the JC paper's correspondence author to comment on my/our views.
The format was also set as
--Oncogenic pathway signatures in human cancers as a guide to targeted therapies. Nature 439, 353-357 (19 January 2006)
Joseph R. Nevins group at Duke showed deregulated oncogenic pathways differed in tumor types and correlated with clinical outcomes.
